We are excited to announce the hiring of Richard Osikowicz, AIF® and Byron Deese as part of our plan to expand our retirement plan consulting practice. As Director of Retirement Plan Services, Osikowicz will be overseeing the entire practice with a particular focus on building the infrastructure to support our clients.
As Retirement Plan Services Consultant, Deese will focus primarily on retirement solutions for clients, while providing business development support for other Glass Jacobson services as well.
Founded in 1962 as a traditional CPA firm, we have continued to evolve into a full service, wealth management firm.
We have focused on bringing together the essential services of investment management, advanced financial planning, and tax services and accounting to better serve our clients’ ever-growing financial needs.
Retirement plan services were introduced in 2004 and recent plans to expand the division represent our strategic shift towards broader retirement planning and business consulting.
The greater focus on retirement plan consulting will also provide better integration of all our financial solutions for our business owner clients and enable us to offer more holistic and streamline solutions for plan sponsors.
Jon Dinkins, Managing Director of Investment Advisory Services, offers his perspective of the opportunity created by the new hires:
"We are really excited about what's on the horizon for our retirement plan consulting group. We've hired two incredibly talented and dynamic individuals to provide even better service and solutions to plan sponsors. With Rich's experience, he will be the leader our team needs to take the group to the next level. Byron brings a great track record of building relationships and working with small business owners to optimize their retirement plan strategy."
Prior to joining Glass Jacobson, Osikowicz was the retirement business development officer at PNC Bank, where he worked directly with plan sponsors in the Greater Maryland and Central Pennsylvania markets. He also spent 13 years at T. Rowe Price in their U.S Intermediary Channel, where he supported many of their Bank and Insurance clients.
Deese was formerly a group account executive with Mutual of America, providing pension and retirement plan services for small businesses and nonprofit organizations. He also spent years at Legg Mason and Lincoln Financial Group, working in institutional sales and relationship management divisions.
