Baltimore CPA and wealth management firm, Glass Jacobson Financial Group, announced the hiring of R. Daniel Gartrell, CPA, Esq. as Senior Tax Manager. Gartrell brings 22 years of experience to the firm as a certified public accountant and as a tax attorney licensed to practice law in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and the United States Tax Court. His fields of specialty include individual and business taxation as well as estate and business succession planning.
As a Senior Tax Manager for Glass Jacobson, Gartrell will assist with all aspects of the firm’s tax practice, working directly with individual and business clients to achieve their goals with an emphasis on tax efficiency.
Founded in 1962 as a traditional CPA firm, Glass Jacobson has continued to evolve into a full service, wealth management firm, bringing together the essential services of Investment Management, Advanced Planning and Tax and Accounting to better serve its clients’ ever-growing financial needs.

Prior to joining Glass Jacobson, Gartrell has been a tax manager at SB & Company and Rosen, Sapperstein & Friedlander, LLC, working with high net worth families and middle market clients.
Gartrell earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting form Salisbury University, cum laude. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore Law School. His hobbies include golf and hiking.
