RICHARD A. BARSKY BIOGRAPHY

Richard joined Glass Jacobson as a principal in November 2018 when he merged his firm with us.  He provides specialist advice on tax and consulting matters from our Rockville office.

Richard’s background includes positions as partner at his firm, Whelan Barsky & Associates, and managing director/partner at American Express Tax & Business Services and RSM McGladrey following the merger of his practice.  Richard graduated from the University of Maryland in 1972 with a bachelor of science degree.

When he is not at work, Richard is very involved with SEEC, a non-profit organization that seeks employment, equality and community for people with developmental disabilities.  In his downtime, he loves spending time with his family and supporting the Maryland Terrapins, Washington Nationals and Washington Capitals.
